General donations and other gifts are used to defer production cost, storage, maintenance of the Memorial Quilts and other traveling Museum Artifacts. These funds also defer cost and upkeep of the custom runway and related equipment and maintenance.

Museum Land Construction and Building Fund

All donations ranging from $500 to 5000 and beyond from individuals or corporate donors are automatically earmarked for the purchase of land to build The Ataraxis Museum and Center for Social Change, PO Box 7 Bahama, NC 27503

Sponsorship

Due to the enormous growth of the quilt over the past 27 years, the quilt and custom runway has become quite cumbersome to manage requiring trained personnel and caretakers to present this exhibit. In order to continue this important work, a physical museum has become necessary. Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to sponsor a family that may be seeking to include the quilt for a memorial event. The minimum requirement of sponsors would be the cost of setup & production of the exhibit. Benevolent funds toward purchase of museum should be paid to the order of Ataraxis Museum and Center for Social Change, a 501(c)(3) organization founded January 13, 2021 in Durham NC.

Community Fundraising Event

Church and civic & youth groups, looking to hold a fundraiser or an awareness campaign to include the quilt (runway) must contact a booking manager.
